Tulsa attorney James M. Wirth on Sept. 28, 2014, celebrated 10 successful years as a licensed Oklahoma attorney.

His appellate work led to reversal of four district court judges’ decisions. A published decision in one of his appeals cases led to a change in Oklahoma expungement law. As an accepted member of the U.S. Supreme Court bar, Mr. Wirth during his first 10 years of practice filed a case in the nation’s highest court.
Mr. Wirth’s personal injury practice has won a multi-million-dollar judgment and recovered millions of dollars for injured clients. His family law practice has helped countless families find legal solutions during difficult times. His unemployment track record includes 20 consecutive wins for clients who appealed after employers claimed his clients were not due unemployment compensation.
Entrepreneurship, Community Leadership
As a Tulsa entrepreneur, he leads his own law firm – Wirth Law Office. The firm is home to five associate attorneys, works with two of-counsel attorneys, employs a support staff that includes paralegals, legal assistants, IT and marketing specialists, and regularly trains interns who are pursuing paralegal or attorney careers. The firm maintains satellite offices in Muskogee, Okmulgee, Bartlesville, Wagoner and Oklahoma City.
In recent media appearances, Mr. Wirth was on Tulsa’s News on 6 to inform area residents about identity theft and metabolite DUI. He consulted with a HBO producer about crowding in Tulsa County jail – calling the facility at times a debtors’ prison. Nationally, Mr. Wirth is recognized among America’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Here in Tulsa, he serves on the Brown Mackie College Criminal Justice and Legal Studies Program Advisory Council.
